The Igreja Congregação Cristã no Brasil (CCB) is a Brazilian religious organization that was established in 1688.
With the arrival of the first Jesuits in Brazil, the church began to grow in number. In 1688, a new building was constructed in the city of Salvador, which is considered the first church built in Brazil.
In the following years, other churches were established in other cities. Today, the CCB has more than 300 churches, the largest of which has more than 6,000 members.
The organization is divided into several ecclesiastical provinces, each one under the jurisdiction of a Bishop.
The CCB has played an important role in the history of Brazil. In the 18th century, it was one of the most important churches in the country.
In the first half of the 19th century, the church was attacked by the Brazilian government, and some of its members were killed or sent to prison.
In the second half of the 19th century, the church was again attacked, this time by the military forces of the country.
